Lincoln Market Day
Watercolour on Bockingford NOT 200lb paper. 1/2 imperial. This, for me, was really an excercise in painting figures, as I don't very often include figures in my work. I also did a fair bit of negative painting around the various shapes. It's a LOT more detailed than some of my work, but I think the subject leant itself to this approach. I've kept the figures fairly loose though. Reference picture was Sandie Bell, from PMP.
