Old Watering Can

Looks good, treatment nice, can super, not happy with the foreground in that the can is not connected to the surface it is on. shadows equal - the ground to the right would have picked up some "borrowed colour" from the can?

i like it :-) and for me, it does not look too dark, nice floor and wall colour :-)

Agree with Brian that perhaps a thin glaze of the local color of the watering can on parts of the ground would connect the entire painting, but other than that small point, it's a lovely piece. Congratulations on this being selected for the October gallery! It obviously works!
