Great painting - hoe did you achieve the bridge? Acrylic ink or what?

Hi Michael, thanks for the comment. The bridge was drawn in detail, then masked out, rubbed off and painted in the dark areas, to contrast with the background. A long process but I think it was worth it. All the architectural brick work was done the same way.

your patience paid off, the bridge is beautifully done. I like both paintings although they have very different atmosphere and create different effect. I like the composition in this one
