Through the Window

Hi Trevor - another lovely painting.- nice subject love the hat and reflection. I haven't been painting that long, around 4 years. I was tight (not drink) at first and then began to loosen my work. I cannot grid anything - so it is a question of well that's around about there on there so I put my first mark. I do the same when I am painting outside. As a draughtsman I can understand your precise work. With a little more loosening and more light and shade, just think how fantastic an Artist you are going to be. Thanks for your lovely comments. Still learning techniques with tyhe media and a long way to go - but comments like yours are just the boost I need when feeling frustrated - many, many thanks - and yes I can't stop - feel I have years to make up for !
