That is so clever - What a lovely story all the made up bit as well as the painting. The overall colour blends so nicely making the red CV stand out , need a steady hand for the number plate. Excellent. Best regards Jeannette

I agree with all the others have said about your work. Obviously the dogs are well paid!!! And you are obviously a 2cv fan! maybe a member of the club? My 3 favourite paintings. Congratulations.

Hi Folks - this is the second version of a painting posted earlier - same model of car but a different vehicle - 2 characters the same but moved around a bit - 2 new characters - woman & dog - different background. Made up from 6 different photos - the car lives in Huddersfield but I had to give it a Charentais number plate for authenticity - the dog lives in Sheffield. The woman was on a photo I took on a market somewhere in Picardy & the two men were also browsing markets somewhere in Normandy - different towns on different days. The cobbles are purely from imagination. It is Alkyd oil on Daler board 22" x 18".
