I think you could do with a little more attention to the toes of the left leg, but otherwise, very successful.

Bearing in mind that a photograph of a painting can never show the true colours or the detail of the actual work I don't think that the toes need any attention whatsoever - after all this is a painting not a photograph. The same could be said of landscapes which give an overall impression of an actual scene but one could be picky about details. Someone at an art group I go to is very picky about details in horses I paint - that person has never painted a horse in his life let alone used oil paints as I do so I tend to ignore him and in any case it's too late to give a lttle more attention to the toes even if I wanted to - the painting is sold and haning in the home of a very happy lady buyer.

I seem to have offended you, and am sorry - but if you object to comments, there's not much point in posting work. It isn't the colour that's the problem, Trevor - but happily for both of us, I don't feel inclined to comment any further on your work; and if this is how you respond, neither will anyone else.

Slightly sensual ? very very sensual imho, particularly between knees and hips. Nice work.
