Oh wow Paul, this is wonderful! The stunning colours of the trees reflected in the water is very impressive, very beautiful work.

Thank you very much Margaret, I am glad you enjoyed my latest painting. I was working on this during a studio tour and many couldn't believe i was doing this with soft pastels.

This is a 19"X21" pastel painting on UArt 600 paper. The scene is of a bend in the Yuba River located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains not far from the town of San Juan, where Oregon Creek flows into it.
