This is great, I love waterfalls. I never seem to have the time to photograph them, and there are quite a few here in Wales - one day. I like the way you have a trickle over the rocks on the right. Nice work.

Yes, it nearly works for me the way you have captured the trickles and rock formation. Just needs stronger tone and contrasts for me.

I've recently taken to using pastels and I hope that one day I will be able to use them with your expertise, this is fabulous.

Thank you very much Fiona, I really love pastels. While I started out sketching in pencil and pen and ink, I eventually went to watercolor and then graduated to oils. I was away from my painting for many years and when I started back in it was with some classes in pastels that my wife gifted me after I retired. I fell in love with the medium. Although it took me awhile to get the hang of them, I am no longer intimidated by them at all. Now I teach as well on occasion.
