I find pastel EXTREMELY difficult, and couldn't approach this level of accomplishment - you were taught well, and learned, if anything, better!

Thank you for your comments Robert, over the past ten years I believe I have mastered pastel and strive to continue to improve. I have had some excellent teachers and read volumes of information on pastel techniques and challenged myself with many different subjects to be able to learn more. This lovely rocky beach is at Bodega Bay headlands and the wind is always blowing briskly. The pastel is 19X26" on Uart 600 paper.
