Hi Paul, I think this is an improvement, as you say the boy and boat do now stand out. I think the water looks more 'wet' now also. It's good to sit back and assess your work, now lets have a look at my last one!

Thanks to Stephen Slater for comments on first posting. I've straightened the scan so the gable end doesn't slope as much. A frame would help to straighten the outside edges. I've extended the roof on the main house and darkened the reflections and other places to help the boy and boat stand out a little more. It'll never be a masterpiece but the changes do make a little difference. Thanks Stephen
