Absolutely beautiful - so delicately painted; not an easy task I'm sure.

Called Bamburgh Buzzard because I was walking towards the village and castle of Bamburgh when I spotted this fluffly little feather on the floor before me. I am pretty confident it is a buzzard feather, either from a young bird or the fluffy part of a mature bird. So light and fluffy this little feather never stays still in my studio. Just walking past it generates enough air movement to send it whirling into the air, I am always finding it in different places, how it has not been sucked up by the hoover yet is pure luck. Drawn in pencil on bristol paper 10 x 8"
