A magpie.... Told me secret things. Of the music in white feathers. And the sunlight that sings. (TP Cameron Wilson) I wanted to call this Two for Joy but I've already completed a drawing of two magpie feathers with that name. I found the feather on the left quite a while ago and held on to it until I found a matching feather so I could draw two together. It is drawn in pencil on top of a watercolour wash. I find it really makes the colours of pencil drawings appear deep and solid if there is an underpainting. 10 x 8"
