I too am guilty of this Paulette and only this week have been just plain sketching. This is beautiful and looks light as a feather. Well done it needs nothing else.

A little study from life of a feather that fluttered down in front of me. Does anyone else feel the pressure to add more and more to their artwork? I feel that strongly, as if one medium is not enough anymore. I tend to end up with a mixed media piece because I can't achieve what I want in that particular medium so part way through I reach for another. I wanted to calm my troubled mind with the simplicity of one subject one medium whilst waiting for a paint layer to dry on an oil painting.
