Winter Snowdrops
Graphite on Bristol Board - 6 x 6" This is probably the hardest thing I have ever drawn. I have snowdrops in the garden but resisted plucking them as I was worried they would wilt before I could draw them. Instead I purchased a potted snowdrop from local snowdrop walk. It managed to stay for a couple of days before it started to droop and I planted it outside. Being white and such fine line details on the petals it made it so tricky to draw. Going too heavy with the graphite would only make it look too dark.
