Lovely watercolour. I particularly like the depth of colour you have used for the two roofs on the bottom left hand side. Great sky - I am so wimpy about skies that I like to study what other people have done on a look and learn basis! I like the effect of using the tinted paper - haven't tried that but might do after seeing how it adds depth to a painting.

Thanks Thea. The only thing I have reservations about is the way the cottages are angled on the left. That's the way they were as it happens as you are looking down to them from the viewpoint but I think I should have maybe used artistic licence and changed the perspective a little. I liked using the tinted paper but it depends on the effect you're after as to whether it works or not. Two Rivers do a range of 4 or 5 different colours besides their standard white. I think the grey works well for dull overcast days.
