Interesting structures and colour harmony Pat.

I like how you've created the architecture, Pat, as well as your use of light and shadow. I'm sure it will be a most interesting piece when completed for those folks familiar with the location.

The shop on the far right do a mean sausage roll now a days....

Love sausage rolls;) Great painting Pat, I like the sky very much and the warm palette.

Very large Oil on Canvas approx 120cm x 140cm, approx 60% complete. An epic of a painting based on 3 old black & white photos. I've been painting it for around 2 months -I've never painted this big before. It will go up in a local restaurant when finished - it still needs tones/colours adjusting, highlights, shadows etc. I'll post the final version later. For those who live in the area, you will realize that most of the buildings in the foreground have been demolished now - it's a view from the market place. If anyone gets up to the Artwaves Festival at Bridlington Spa this weekend (14/15th), pop in the main gallery "Light Fantastic" exhibition and say hello - I shall be there both days with many paintings posted in the last year or so on painters online. Artwaves is sponsored by The Artist magazine and there's lots going on.
