A lovely piece, Pat. And kudos to you for taming Vrirdian! It's such a challenging color, but one you've used with finesse here. It goes very well with the hue of the roses. Thank you too for your very kind comment on my painting. I can't believe there was a time when drivers could stop on the highwat and chat in Cuba! It was crazy-crowded there when I took the photo for my painting!

Small painting of garden roses. I just plonked them in a beer glass, did most of the painting in one go, and brushed in highlights when it was dry. Fairly limited palette but includes viridian which I don't use very often.
