Oil on canvas. I first painted this view 3 years ago on a much larger canvas. This version puts more emphasis on the stones and pebbles that land on the beach,particularly after rough weather in winter. I used a palette knife for the sky but most of the rest is with large brushes - though the foreground pebbles took ages to paint. It will be another 3 year before I attempt to paint it again!
