I think this is a lovely painting especially viewed on the largest setting, how big is the original and is it mounted on anything ?I really know nothing about silk painting apart from how beautiful they can be.

Hi William, the painting is approx 12 ''x 9'' and is mounted on white mountboard to bring out the colours. Until it's mounted it looks really dull and just looks like any scrap of fine material. I then had it framed with a 2'' ivory mount in a sort of beige coloured, 2'' wide wooden frame. It looks good and I hope to exhibit it in November when my art group has a two week show in Barnsley town centre. I hope to do more fuscia paintings as they are so beautiful and varied in colours. .......If you are interested have a look on U Tube where you can see how its all done....not by me tho' but a professional !!
