It does give you more of an insight into the artists methods ,I have copied Gauguin , Vermeer , Renoir and Modigliani and I really enjoyed the excercise, your painting is a lovely colourful work my Gouguin copy was of a woman seated on a wooden chair and much darker than yours , I prefer yours. : )

Really well done, I think you've captured his work extremely well.
