Hello Patricia, this is a lovely seascape and a very nice wave. I love painting waves and seascapes, my wife reckons I must have been a fish or a sailor in a previous life LOL.

I have just recently tried painting waves with water colours it didn't work, so I know how hard they can be to paint, this really is a very lovely painting.

Painted in oils at a workshop with Jeremy Taylor. He is works as an teacher et Shipley College, Saltaire in West Yorkshire and is my favourite demonstrator and local painter. He made it all seem so easy and took us step by step.......what an enjoyable day!
