This owl has been the subject of other pictures! As I was busy painting away at my easel in an artist's studio during the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival I could see the sun streaming in past his muse, a beautifully mounted barn owl, out of the corner of my eye. All of a sudden I felt in my imagination that that bird was actually flying in ....hence the 'collage' easel and rather surrealist painted branches in my picture! © 1999
