The first of two landscapes painted out of two adjacent windows in our holiday cottage , St. Mawgan, Cornwall. We had been lucky enough to rent this place two years running when our son was little. The first visit was not fruitful painting wise, but I must have absorbed quite a lot, as the minute we arrived on the second visit, I literally dropped my bags, grabbed my sketch kit and asked my husband to take over babysitting duties for a bit!
