A lot better than frisk film or masking fluid if you want to avoid the clumsy, abrupt edges the former leave you with.

Agree with the above, but I would say that the drawing needed to be pretty accurate in the first place, given the jagged edges which are left when you wash off...(.perhaps 'soft' or 'fuzzy' would be be a better word to use than 'jagged?')
