No impression of a struggle here Liz, I think you have caught mood of Paul's illustration very well here, I found this difficult too.

I think this loose watercolour painting is tops Liz!

Liz Del Pino sent in her version of Paul's challenge saying: 'The process I used was more or less the same as Paul´s example in the October issue of The Artist. The main problem I had was that I used some watercolour paper that I´m not very happy with – Fabriano aquarello 270gr. I bought a block of 20 sheets and am regretting it very much. The paint tends to dry very quickly on it so its very difficult to go back into to charge with stronger colour. It has a strange texture in that is has a rough texture to it but is also quite smooth . Anyway, once started I struggled on till the end. It would be good if Paul could comment on it as I´m not progressing as much as I´d like to and need some help.....'
