S. pawlyn sent in their version of Paul's final exercise saying: 'I decided a square format would give the picture more interest and the rough watercolour paper with the acrylic would give the sea some life. I painted the whole picture on a cerulean blue background with a limited palette of burnt umber, Paynes grey, white and a little burnt sienna. Could I have the photographs owner's permission to exhibit and offer the painting for sale.'
