Jackie Poynter sent in her version of Paul's shoreline exercise saying: 'Firstly, I collaged some strips of paper from a magazine, and built a little texture for the building and foreground using watercolour ground. I dripped acrylic paint wet-into-wet. (turquoise, yellow ochre, magenta) Acrylic paint was then sponged or printed on in several layers (phthalo blue, cadmium yellow deep, yellow ochre and white) Oil pastels were used for the pebbles, then glazed with thin layers of cadmium yellow deep acrylic paint.'
