PTG Exercise 2 - Shadows on a Path by Painters-Online Team
Francoise Brindle sent in her version of Paul's exercise saying: 'I used yellow ochre as coloured ground and tried to leave bits to shine through, it really made made me understand the use of coloured grounds and of leaving bits uncovered . Used alizarin for the initial drawing. Other colours were ultramarine, cadmium yellow burnt sienna and burnt umber and phthalo green. Loved the liveliness of the shadows on the grass'
