Alan, I really admire your adventurous attitude towards shape and colour! This reminds me of an ariel view of a landscape....it's great!

A bit garish , but a nice excercise in using different colours in a landscape to,produce a semi-abstract.<br />Well done that man.

Alan Bickley is enjoying following Paul's exercises. He sent in this version (acrylic on canvas, 24 x 30") saying: 'I enjoy working up and developing a theme, rather than a single work, and this fourth attempt at Paul's exercise has given me the opportunity to have a shot at a semi-abstract. Shapes and colours have always interested me when painting, so this patchwork field effect gave me plenty of scope to experiment'
