Lovely painting and interesting technique Denise. Is it a normal thing to do, to put a wash on the reverse of the rice paper in this type of work? It makes a very good painting.

Thanks George, yes, it is a traditional technique used.its a delicate process as the rice paper is exceptionally fragile.
