That is too beautiful. Denise. The colours are so subtle and calming!!

Simple , beautiful and so delicate looking , but certainly not simple to do, superb work Denise and so skilfully executed. You definitely need a gentle touch using rice paper , and you clearly have just the right touch.

This is fabulous Denise and oh how brave you are to indulge in such a tricky medium but the results have been well worth it.

Eastern winter flower. Using Japanese watercolours. Wet in wet technique, Chinese brushwork on rice paper. There is no pre-drawing when doing this. You mainly have to work quickly on rice paper. If you make mistakes, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
