It's the silver trunks of the trees that really make this - beyond the superb composition. I hope you got a decent price on ebay - some of the prices I've seen there are heartbreaking!

Robert.Thanks for your comment.glad you liked the painting.I have been selling these on ebay for the last 7 years normally for $25 Aust .The money really doesnt matter that much as all my enjoyment comes from working on them,and the liile bit that I get pays for pastels ,paper,and the odd bill. In my retirement I have found it a great hobby and I usually finish one each morning.Regards Keith

This pastel was on my Gallery some time ago.As it didnt sell I tried reworking it and it sold first morning on ebay,which only shows it is better to risk ruining it than throwing it out.Size 8x10(WITH MATT)
