The River Ure above Masham

Thank you so much for your comments on Fair View. From someone of your skill it's very much appreciated. This painting of yours makes me smile. As a child I was taught to recite the names of the rivers down through Yorkshire; Swale Ure Nidd Wharfe, Aire Calder Don. We got our knuckles rapped if we didn't remember them . This is the first time I've ever heard the Ure mentioned since then. I love the eroded banking on the right.
