I'm enjoying your posts, Gloria. This one in particular sparked my interest. The girl's face has a glow to it helped by the red hair. Love the background too. (I've only tried oil on a ink drawing once...oil glazes using Liquin. Your work has made me want to have another go.)

Thank you, Lewis. Yes, I agree you should try again with the oils and ink. I really like Acrylic and ink the most.

Thank you, Jenny. I love the girls that I draw and feel inspired as they come to being. All they have different "personalities" and out of 400 hundred drawings, no two are never completely alike.

Oil and ink painting over pen and ink background. Some of the leaves when they came together I started seeing a bird here and there, so I painted them to show up. The background came from an idea of a cut-glass mirror we have.
