As with the rest of your work, it's up there in quality. It would be interesting though to have a go at it with watercolour, maybe a more impressionistic approach. It almost looks like it's in costume.LOL

Your work is always fascinating...

Many thanks both of you. I agree Chito it would need a much more impressionistic approach to do this in watercolour and I'm not sure I can do that. As a breed it has very specific requirements for those cords. Maybe I'll have a go but you may not see it on here LOL

This is just gorgeous, Diana! You've handled the light and the cords brilliantly. I didn't realise you did dog paintings. I'll be looking through the portfolio with interest, for sure!

This is beautifully done, Diana. I admire your patience about drawing all those cords! Stunning!

I am amazed at the time and incredible details that you have put into this painting! It is very good!

Seok , I've been painting dogs only , for 30 years; everything else I started only in the last 9 years.

This is very three dimensional. I just wante to put my hand into that coat. Well done.

I didnt realise this was a real dog at first glance. i have never seen one of this breed. It is a fascinating painting.

o my what a great painting, :0)THE HAIR IS FANTASTIC!

This caught my eye and I then realised that I have never really looked at your dog gallery. You have some wonderful work here Diana and I have to admire your stamina for completing the Puli! I saw these dogs at Crufts one year - almost unreal - and there is no way I could tackle painting one!!! Well done - he looks amazing and you have managed to achieve the texture of the cords so well!

Stunning of course Diana

Coloured pencil of a Hungarian Puli. A new breed for me to try. I just couldn't face all those cords in watercolour. It has got feet and eyes, honestly!
