Lovely Diana. What a look of concentration on his face! Beautifully painted.

We have his cousins scurrying about the floor space even as we speak ... which isn't, on balance, quite so charming a thought. Very well painted ... congratulations.

Beautiful painting. I love the mouse so cute. I can really see this little fellow out at night hunting for his seeds from the Agapanthus seed pods. The light is beautifully captured.

Quite beautiful in its simplicity. Lovely colours and the contrast between the fat little mouse and the spidery seed heads make it an eye catcher. Just love it.

Hadn't realised I had missed so many of yours recently. They are all so good but I've got a real soft spot for this one as I used to sit at the window and watch the field mice visiting the bird table, sadly they don't seem to come anymore. Goodness thank you all ever so much. I loved the composition of this and just felt I needed a change from what I'd been doing. Sorry Jeannette to disagree about the background. I still don't like my backgrounds, especially dark ones. I also think I should have missed out or else made longer, the spiky bits behind it's body
