A wonderful painting Nigel. I have made attempts to paint this kind of beach scene but they don't come close to this. As Jim says, it's a difficult one . I'll keep trying, but it won't be in watercolour.

Thank you for all the comments guys! This was such a lovely painting to do, the light, the sky, the wet sand. All the comments make me think I should do more of these subjects even though it seemed a bit empty when I was there. Perhaps it is that quiet emptiness that is appealing.
