Very clever Neal. Disturbing.

Wow! This is powerful, and certainly stirs the emotions. A really different piece of art. Startlingly realistic.

Glad to hear it is a pose and not for real! However this is a very effective painting and the line of the background makes the sense of two halves more poigniant. Looking again, I see I misread the painting at first, seeing the blue behind the man's lower face and and the blue behind the woman as his shoulder and arm round the back of her - giving some more ambiguity there. Seeing the size you have painted it, it must be quite dramatic in real life.

Very thought provoking, and great work.
