Wow, Dan I am speechless at your perfect capturing at this man's image and the man standing beside him, his face is perfection as are their clothes, how long did this you take you Dan? The amount of detail you have captured here is truly stunning!

Hi Ros P, thanks for the complements. This drawing took about 2 months. Yours, Neal.

This is brilliant, the way you've captured the different textures and fold of the clothing is superb. You've even successfully tackled the difficult subject of glasses on the man's face and . This is one of the most vibrant yet detailed pastel works I think I have ever seen.

I just looked at your website Neal and of course it explains a lot!, about what you have been through over the years with the struggle to do this level of art versus the need to live and provide, I know we all breathe a massive sigh of relief that after giving up art completely for 10 years you have realised the road to satisfaction comes through going out to work and keep art as a hobby, it would have been an absolute tragedy if we had lost your marvellous skills forever!

Truly amazing piece of work! Have looked through your portfolio, it is all exceptionally good, well done you! The clothing looks so real, the moulding of the colours ..supurb

I'm speechless, the detail is fantastic.

I agree. This is superb. Amazing detail.

I'm just relieved to hear that it took you two months to complete - I think we'd all take our art materials out and jump on them until they were pulverized if you were able to produce this in a few days. I've never worked on a picture for anything like as long as that: haven't the patience, or the faith required that the finished work would be worth the effort - quite extraordinary work.
