The Continuing and Heroic Adventures of Minecraft's Greatest Zombie Hunter by Nathan Jelbert
Water mixable oils on greyboard. No two ways about it, my son flippin' loves Minecraft, so I decided to make him part of his favourite past time. He seemed mildly confused when he saw it, but I think he approved as he asked if this meant he was famous now. It's a 60x60cm oil painting on grey board and is called 'The Continuing and Heroic Adventures of Minecraft's Greatest Zombie Hunter'. I've also attached some of the failed attempts at getting a reference photo. Mainly because his body language reminds me of how I feel inside when I'm asked to do something I don't want to. The stick he's holding is a bit vicious looking, but my original idea for this was going to be a Lord of the Flies/post apocalypse sort of theme, but I decided against it.
