Fantastic work. Coincidentally, we were talking about Lord of the Flies earlier this week, something about it probably not being allowed to be read at schools any more ....

Another superb contemporary work Nathan. I can imagine this exhibited at the BP portrait award show in London.

Water mixable oils on greyboard. No two ways about it, my son flippin' loves Minecraft, so I decided to make him part of his favourite past time. He seemed mildly confused when he saw it, but I think he approved as he asked if this meant he was famous now. It's a 60x60cm oil painting on grey board and is called 'The Continuing and Heroic Adventures of Minecraft's Greatest Zombie Hunter'. I've also attached some of the failed attempts at getting a reference photo. Mainly because his body language reminds me of how I feel inside when I'm asked to do something I don't want to. The stick he's holding is a bit vicious looking, but my original idea for this was going to be a Lord of the Flies/post apocalypse sort of theme, but I decided against it.
