Spencer, this is a beautifully executed piece of old master style of painting. Very little you could improve on. I take it that it was painted in oils?

Thank you all and yes it's water-mixable oils, Gavin. As a side note, the game icon ended up being the most problematic for me after the orange. To be honest, I'm still not happy with either, but I've learnt over the years to stop before I make things worse!

Having a bit of fun with a still life subject. Not something I paint that often, but I might return to it in the future when I need another breather from portraits. 90x50cm oil on cradled board. 🙂
