There is so much going on in this painting. The longer you look, the more you see. The vibrant colours work well. The detail is there without going over the top. The sunlight and shadows are spot on and the figures are well observed and painted. Another winner.

Snoek is what the people of the West Coast in South Africa call this very popular fish. It is 'snoek season' and the fishermen is very busy. This acrylic painting shows how the fishermen clean the fish. 40cm x 30cm Painted on gesso-primed illustration board.
