A very hard painting to copy Murray, especially to get the colours right.

You've scaled this down to a quarter of the original's size, which must have taken a great deal of thought, calculation, and probably quite a lot of things going wrong before they went right: sooner thee than me!

A copy of probably one of the most famous English landscape paintings in the world. Seeing this for the first time at age 11 is what got me into landscape painting and it has taken fifty four years for me to even consider having a go at copying it. As far as I am concerned Constable was the master of the English landscape.
