I painted this in two 2 hour sessions over two mornings. The sun on the pansies were a real challenge. I found it hard a first to get the glow on the pansies as by adding white, the colour went flat. Old Holland Violet Grey paint came to my rescue. I am giving 40% of all sales to Marie Curie & St Barnabas Hospice
