Agree with Sylvia, fantastic result on this one Phillip so the end very definately justified the means!

When Mansell Construction were looking at fund raising ideas to mark their centenery I thought I'd weigh in with some art. We considered caricatures of the directors but thought that only the diretcors would buy these (or not!) We needed something to capture the imagination of people so that they would bid for it in an auction. At the time Pompey were flying high and near to making an FA Cup final for the first time since 1939. I swallowed my red and white striped pride and produced this. It is a watercolour on a whole sheet of Arches 640 gsm NOT and it sold at auction for £500-proceeds to breast cancer charities. Some things are more important than football.
