Always drawn to this cracking little series Philip, Pity about the background and it's going to be tough to add it now without messing it up. Idealy you would need to fade it behind the figures.

Think I can pull it of Derek. The thing is should I? Does it have merit as it is or do I attempt the background and opportunity to 'trap' the light?

Watercolour on 390 x 290 Bockingford 200lb NOT. Devotees of this site will have noticed a similar posting recently (Bourbon Street Parade ll), but this has been reworked to commission with the musicians rearranged to suggest more depth. I have neglected to put a background in. This, I feel, gives it a more contemporary and graphic appeal, but should I put a diluted cool wash in to suggest a street scene?
