This is so gentle and harmonious that it is a joy to behold. Lots of sections are very good but your awning takes the top prize for me - superbly done.

I agree with Thea. These quirky, informal and original scenes are so hard to bring off, but you've succeeded wonderfully.

Excellent watercolour of these nursery gardens Philip, love how you captured the difficult textures and colours of the plants with just some green washes by emphasising the depth of the green occasionally which has worked beautifully

Watercolour on quarter imperial 640gsm rough Arches. Bit of a departure from my usual stuff, but managed to trap some light and suggest some detail without over doing it. If I'm quick I can manage to post this next to another South Hampshire post from two different contributors. In the words of Harry Hill, "What are the chances of that happening?"
