Watercolour on Saunders 500gsm rough quarter imperial sheet. On what was a lovely weekend, with plenty going on, I set time aside to do what I don't do enough of-draw. I did some little pen and ink sketches of this garden scene in Leicestershire, working them up into a watercolour sketch when I gotback to my studio in Hampshire.
