Great insight into a different culture and a lovely study Midori

His face is so expressive, and the way his shoulders are set, in just a few strokes. Masterful. Did you do this on the spot, Midori, or from a photograph (or both)?

So well executed Midori, beautiful colours and I love the writing, it adds to your painting.

Hi Michael, This is a post card size. E-tegami. E means picture and tegami means letter. I'"ve started to paint this size every Saturday to send it to my mum. I'm very happy to show Arab people to UK people. Hi Caroline, I didn't do on spot. I'm so shy to do. I just ask the guy to take some photos. He is so friendly. I wish I could speak Arabic. After I painted him, I went to him to show my work. He said "NO!!!!! This doesn't look like me. I'm a bit handsome than this". and we all laughted. " Hi Carole, I think all our works must have stories to let them exist in this world. I would like to explain how I felt or have been feeling.(Oh,my English is correct?)

He is selling Tabaco leaves in front of the Al Ain Vegetable Souq. I should have asked him where those Tabaco leaves comes from. I don't think UAE can produce Tabako leaves, because too hot. He said he comes from Iraq. I like painting Arab guys, because all have beard. They look like SantaClaus whole year.
