I eat one everyday and this a great study of them Midori. your english does you credit - perhaps you could say 'where the stem enters the apple' but I fully understand what you saying. Keep painting them!

To panting apples sounds like pretty easy, but not at all. I struggle to express the depth.

Every Wednesday, AAWCC get together. We did in the Vegetable souq again and set up apples and grapes on the ground yesterday. Almost all members struggled to paint apples. It was very hard to paint the depth which is stem(? ,,,how do you say in English?) is coming out. I hate apples. I used to avoid to paint apples. However, I gave home work to all member. Painting one apple a day till next Wednesday. As long as I said so, I had to do. So I tried to paint apples. It was so much fun. I'm going to try some more.
